Coaching certifications are more nice-to-haves than necessities, especially for niches like mindset coaching and life coaching.
There are niches, mostly within health coaching, that may require certifications, but most of the coaching industry is unregulated.
In other words, you don’t need to become a certified mindset coach.

Why isn’t coaching regulated? Because coaching is about helping people achieve their goals with the coaching methodology you’ve developed.
Does that mean you don’t need experience or training at all?
No. You do need to have the skills and knowledge to help your clients reach their goals.
So, as a mindset coach, you might have training in mindfulness.
Or maybe you’ve gone through your own mindset transformation that you can teach to others.

Ultimately, one that supports your methodology as a mindset coach. Here below, I’ve listed a number of certifications that work for mindset coaches, including certifications with a focus on mindset, life, wellness, and leadership coaching.
I’ve also mentioned if the certification is ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited or not. ICF is an organization that comes the closest to being a regulatory body for the coaching industry – even though there is no such thing as an official accreditation system.
In other words, ICF accreditations give some credibility to coaching certification programs.
(Note: I haven’t enrolled in these programs myself. I’m recommending them based on good reviews and the reputation of the school.)

iPEC Coaching Certification
The iPEC Coaching certification is known as one of the best coaching certification courses. The course takes you through their CORE Energy Coaching process – using research-backed tools and techniques, you’ll learn how to empower and motivate your clients to the finish line.
